Don't Mess With Gods

There were conversations about the white lady while Ruk was still stark naked and Jules was emotionally damaged from almost being shot to death.  They were long, they involved a lot of swearing (by me, sorry twins I saved you from dudity but let you hear my foul language), they involved a lot of "You have to understand this is the way things are blah blah blah" and then me with more swearing.

Ok so the basic gist of the situation is this.  In the lands of the east they don't follow the Fire God (who tends to be the god of violence and vengeane in the lands I'm from) but instead have one god who does vengeance.  She's a white lady (because women are the ultimate avatar of vengeance, don't believe me? Fire God's a woman too) and for the small price of some blood vengeance for someone else, she'll kill whoever you need for your own moment of violence.

Yep these lands screwed themselves by making a deal with a god (never ever make a deal with a god EVER!) Seems they had no trouble killing their neighbors for whatever slight had affected them and while there were plenty of murders things in society worked ok (as ok as a society worshipping a god of vengeance by killing for her can go).  The problems began when they were threatened by a larger military force (supported by Ronerawth) they turned to the white lady who wanted a large sacrifice from these people to do her thing.  They agreed of course and then backed out of the deal after she had murdered their enemies.

Naturally this wasn't really thought out, and that pissing off a god or even making a deal with one in the first place is a really bad idea.  So she turned on them, extracting her blood price (they didn't know the exact deal but had heard all of the first daughters were to be the sacrifice), and thats where I came in, during the middle of her purge of her followers (though she apparently is smarter than the evil that Valrym dealt with as she is specifically leaving people alive, which explained the condition of the farm).

Hearing all of this made me just want to leave these idiots to their fate.  Poor Ruk and his group were on a doomed venture anyway, and the white lady would have just murdered them all anyway.  And this was all their own damn fault! They brought this on themselves and now wanted someone else to fix it for them (which is totally unlike me who steps in shit and has to walk it off ALL THE DAMN TIME!) I think I probably would have actually abandoned them despite liking them, if that damn White Lady hadn't shown up at the farm for me.

Yes you read that right she showed up for me specifically, I'm that awesome.  Well either that or that hated, she isn't the only god who's made a personal appearence for Trezlan, and sadly probably will not be the last. What? I already said I'm that awesome!
