"So you're going to take all the souls down here (I assumed down I mean we went down to get in but its probably some kind of secondary plane of existence or something, no I didn't make this statement while talking, look this is my journal you just read it! maybe I dunno) go up to the land of the gods take over there and become the new overlord god of this world with all of your power?" I think I summarized what had brought us to that point pretty well. The God child (I refuse to call him by his ridiculous name) had a sad look on his face, like by me calling out the ludicrous plan it took power away from him. I also noticed the gigantic worm creature had turned around to face me, my sword still buried halfway into its left arm club. I did notice it had aquired a bit more marks from my captured companions.
"You make it sound like its not a very good plan." I am the lord of bad plans, and I'll admit, even this one was stupid from my perspective.
"Its not, you only exist down here because the Fire God does not know of you, as soon as she does, your done, your little petty empire crushed, on top of that you don't have the believers she does, you have power from your godling connection, but up there in the world of the living? You'll have nothing." It seemed right even though I'd seen how that could be wrong and right (look I don't fully understand the gods ok, I just think I do sort of). The God child looked at me with a sneer and with a wave of his hand the worm creature snatched me up (it had hands on the end of its clubbing arms sort of). I could see my sword just almost within my grasp on the worm creatures forearm, maddeningly just out of reach.
"True Mr. Lorentino, but you are a fount of life energy, and with your necromantic abilities I could challenge that Fire Bitch no problem." I am of course my own worst enemy telling my enemy his plan is doomed to fail without killing me.
"Yeah but you're forgetting one." Well several but one important thing.
"And that is?" I gathered my power and scorched the worm creatures arm. It dropped me, but not before I snagged my sword on the way down. I hit the ground running and brought the blade to bear on the God Child impaling it into his chest. He got a shocked look on his face and then kicked me with enough force to throw me backward.
"Foolish and stupid necromancer." He took the blade out and cast it aside, "What did you hope to accomplish stabbing me with your pathetic earth blade I am not some simple creature of evil, I'm the child of a god." He hadn't turned around and so he missed the Fire God standing behind him. It's hard to describe her as an entity to be honest. The first thing that struck me was she was completely naked (and fairly well endowed, because if you're a God I guess why not have large breasts?) The second was the large plumage of flame that was behind her, like a peacock it was cast behind her in a rainbow of color. She herself did not wield a weapon at first, but when she swung her hands a sword appeared and sheared the head off the Godling (right above the jaw causing a small burst of gore to erupt like a weird firework). The worm creature behind me faded, its passengers of souls suddenly free and in awe of the God that had sent them there.
And just like that she was gone. I never could make out her face, I was too transfixed at seeing her in person to make out anymore details other than the nakedness and fire plume (I'll admit this was more based on sexual nature than actual amazement at a god). So how did that all happen? Well... you'll have to read tomorrows entry.
