Prisons of The Gods

God prison is like regular prison, just iron bars, shitty food and nothing to do. I mean sure you are imprisoned in some realm between realms, but that isn't as exciting as you'd think. No to the contrary its rather boring. I mean all I could do was wait around and talk to Hanlon, and well talking to Hanlon while enlightening to an extent, was not exactly scintilating conversation.

"So what are you here for anyway?" It seemed like a valid enough question to the man who I had come to save, but instead got my own dumb ass self in trouble.

"Same thing you are basically, death magic, although in my case well its a lot bigger problem than yours." He looked bad, even for him. Like the suit was fine but the eyes were the window to misery.

"You're not a necromancer though, I don't see any of the usual signs on you at all."

"Trezlan when you eventually figure out what I really am, you'll feel really stupid." I think Hanlon misunderstands what I want to figure out about him is very minimal. Like I know he's terrifying and dangerous and I don't want to know much more than that.

"I already feel really stupid, I should have just taken The Fire God's advice and let this one go."

"You don't follow anyones advice, its one of your nicer characteristics. You don't listen to anyone aside from yourself, and even with your mental illness that's an admirable trait."

"Thanks Hanlon that means a lot to me."

"Though I'll admit you're stupidity is a bit obnoxious willful ignorance is pretty dangerous and you have almost a religious devotion to being ignorant."

"And there it went, there goes my feeling good about what you told me." And so we stood in silence for a bit, until they came to get me to face the music. Well face the tribunal for the crimes of killing gods. Have to say didn't think that was an actual crime, which speaks again to my slavish devotion to ignorance.
