"Delorey I'm beginning to suspect you just can't get through your day without killing someone." Corporate police were always a bit more by the book than governmental authorities. It was because of the balancing act between corporations and the general populace. The corporations didn't want there to be rules, but realized it was better for competition if the other corporations had rules, so the rules that were there were strictly enforced.

"To be fair Agent Lonis I only shot the other people, I assumed they lived, these ones not so much." Nihls would be upset, he was always upset with Rolando, even more now because his cover if not blown was very much in trouble.

"Well you are a mercenary, and your paperwork is in order, but please respect normal process next time and don't kill people on the gods damned street. You're paid to fight wars and I get that, but don't do it in town." Lonis closed his file and the door opened.

"Free to go?"

"For now, but please be boring for a bit Mr. Delorey, take in a play or something, don't kill anyone see how it feels."

"I'll try that Agent Lonis, for you."

"Thank you Mr. Delorey." Rolando left and he almost didn't want to hear Nihls despite knowing the man would be screaming at him. He wondered if he killed Nihls and claimed someone else did it, would he really get in trouble or would everyone be thankful Nihls was gone? Rolando wasn't very far from the corporate authority area before he was stopped by Morlatech security, an entire van of them.

"Get in Delorey, we have to talk." It was an order not a question, Rolando for the first time wondered just how far over his head he actually was in the world of corporate espionage.
