Taverning Inferno

"Well I'm not sitting down here waiting to die." Mordere appeared to want to wait until they ran out of bullets, I was not going to do that! Because that was stupid and I really didn't want to die thinking "They have to be almost out". No I'd much rather die stupidly because of something I did (even though I did this as well... Look shut up).  I gathered my power in a fist and threw it upward, the fire exploded in a shower and instantly ignited the decaying roof (which appeared to be basically straw, so yeah that was yeah).  That didn't stop the shooting mind you, just the roof was not on fire.

"Yes this is definately a solution to the shooting problem, now we can burn alive, a true sacrifice to the fire god." Honestly no idea if he was joking or not.

"Come on we are leaving." I blew out the back wall with another burst of fire (well that and the weight of a burning roof, look you'll have to just accept my description since Mordere will never write a journal of his own and if he did it would just be like "Killed someone today with a gun, and some bullets, also stabbed a guy, yes.") We ran out of the burning tavern as bullets hit all around (that was one positive of the fire they couldn't get a bead on us through the smoke and fire. We left just in time as the building collapsed behind us. Fortunately this also meant that the fire and smoke obscured that we survived.  Unfortunately Mordere's numbers were a bit off, there weren't twelve guys against us, there were twenty.

"There are twenty of them."

"How can you even see them?" I'll admit I was taken a back that he couldn't see through all the smoke and fire the twenty guys on the other side, but then again having lived as long as I have and done a lot of bad things... Well I figure somewhere along the line I picked up a talent for looking through destruction.

"Nevermind that, what are we going to do?" If he was a normal person he'd have laughed, but Mordere as I've said, is not a normal person.

"Kill them." And back towards the burning wreck of the tavern he went. And I followed after.
