All According to No Plan

"Lorentino, thought we killed you, twice even." Aloitious was a scrawny looking short pudgy guy.  Almost the exact opposite to Morley in every way, I could see the benefit of him being an apprentice, much like having a puppy to kick. He sized me up like a butcher looking at meat, I guess I came off wanting.

"What can I say Aloitious, I'm a hard man to kill." It was true, though I didn't really feel particularly hard right now. Shackled staring at my enemy in the heart of his ship fortress, disarmed and disrobed only wearing my pants and boots.  He had my sword and swung it like a bored child playing with a stick.

"But not to catch apparently, couldn't even get the shackles off we left for Fizz I see. I'm frankly surprised you made it on board wearing them, means I'll have to probably have some soldiers killed for incompetence." They weren't the same shackles obviously, but Aloitious didn't seem like the kind of guy to actually inspect a prisoners restraints, he probably doesn't even know how they are applied.

"At least something good will come from this, well aside from me killing you and freeing Morley." He laughed and then indicated for his guards to drag me away.  I was taken from his cabin area where I'd been drug since I got "Caught" (intentionally this time, trust me it was all part of my awesome plan). And taken to the hold with a bunch of other prisoners, though from the looks of these guys they'd had it worse than I did most of them looked just about dead.  They hung my shackles next to Morley, he looked at me with his usual look of contempt, he too looked pretty awful, though thats Morley's usual.

"My hero."

"I got this Morley, just wait, I have a master plan and its already in motion."

"Great part of your plan was to get captured, well at least thats the part you are capable of." I noticed in Morley's voice he sounded more withdrawn, whatever Aloitious was doing to him was taking more out of him than he was letting on.

"Just you wait Morley, soon enough you'll be praising my genius."

"And at that point I'll know I died because I'd be in some horrible punishment afterlife."  Morley didn't have much respect for my amazing plan, but you'll see, you'll see tomorrow how amazing that plan was.  Well the journal will, if you are reading this I'm sure you aren't actually reading it day by day, which makes all of my allusions to later moments seem kind of silly.  Maybe I am crazy, well it wouldn't exactly be unheard of if I were.  All the same tommorrow I write of my climatic super plan that was ingenious.  I can tell you already believe me.
